Said they had to discard batches of crablegs because of the saltiness. The cook explained the problem with the crablegs and acknowledged he's trying to resolve the issue. Could only sample a few fingers they were so salty. Nothing else really.Īnd they were so salty the salt overpowered the crablegs themselves. Good crabs aren't cheap.Ĭrablegs is the reason we go to Capt George's. Sure, I understand trying to keep costs down. We're a 35 year long customer and them changing to new supplier shows this time. But didn't admit to the problem that the kitchen and server already admitted to discarding batches of crabs due to overly salted crabs from a new cheaper supplier. Said they served us new crablegs etc but crablegs werent any better. They're emails addressed that they wouldn't discount our meal because of the salty crabs. Saltiness still needs to be addessed by managers and corporate. Their staff acknowledged with my wife & me about the over saltiness in the crablegs that they cannot fix. Management skirted the problem of the over SALTY crablegs. Not even busy on a Saturday 5pm dinner time. Who pays full price for crablegs couldnt eat much of. What.afraid because we addressed the salty crablegs and asked for a price adjustment. Escorted by a security guard when he did come to our table. ![]() Manager Tom just sat on his stool in lobby. They both acknowledged there has been a problem. Kitchen manager tried to fix the problem as did the server. Never apologized for Williamsburg manager Mr Tom rudeness. But sooooo SALTY.īittany Jao Owner replied to me. They tried several times while there but still so salty could stand eating even a full cluster.
